About Us

Emerald Coast Kennel, Inc. was built in the fall of 2002 and opened it's doors December 16, 2002. We have 3 people on staff who are ready and willing to take the best care of your pet while you are away. Emerald Coast Kennel, Inc. is a member of the American Boarding Kennel Association for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 ,2007, 2008 and 2009.

Our Facilities

We have 3000 square feet heated and cooled with 35 inside/outside runs, 14 inside runs, 2 suites(Nascar room & Choo Choo room), 3 play yards, 8 kitty condos, a kitty playroom, a boutique and a groom room. There is also a fully equipped kitchen to provide ample storage space for any special diet or medication needed for your pet.

Pet Care

All dogs are taken outside into one of the play yards to play and potty 4 times daily. Dogs are not ever boarded in the same run together unless they are from the same household and may still be kept separate should they begin to become a physical threat toward the other at the owner's expense. Cats are never mixed with other cats.

Day Care

Daycare is available for the working folk's pets. This is better described as day boarding as we do not mix dogs from different families. The daycare hours are from 8:00am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday. Dogs in daycare go outside 2 to 3 times daily to play. No dogs are left unattended while out in the play yards but are supervised by one of our staff.

We have 3 people on staff who are ready and willing to take the best care of your pet while you are away.
