FAQ

1. Can I bring my own food?

Yes. We actually encourage this if your pet has a sensitive stomach as the change in diet can cause diarrhea and/or vomitting. We have a full size refrigerator to store any food needed to be kept cool as well as to store any insulin brought with diabetic pets.

2. Can I bring my pet's bed or a blanket?

Yes. We encourage this as well as something from home with your scent on it usually helps the pet feel more at home. Your pet's favorite toy is also welcome or a chewy.

3. When is check out time and how do you calculat

Check out time is at 12:00 noon Monday through Saturday and at 8:00am on Sunday. Every pet is automatically charged for the day that they arrive (as you have reserved that kennel/cage/kitty condo for your pet ) and for every additional day that they stay past that day with the cut off time being at noon of the following day. This gives our staff enough time to clean and prepare each run for the next customer.

4. How large are your kennel runs?

We have 35 inside/outside runs that are 4 feet wide by 6 feet long inside with a doggie door separating the 4 feet wide by 10 feet long run outside. The inside runs are made with 4 inch thick concrete block and the outside runs are made with 1 inch thick fiberglass material with chainlink on top covered by a shading mesh to keep your pet protected from the sun's rays. The inside runs are 4 feet wide by 6 feet long. The suites are 8 feet wide and 6 feet long.

5. How many times are the dogs taken outside?

We are the only kennel in this area that takes every dog outside in the play yard 3 - 4 times daily.

6. Do you let my dog out with other dogs | Do you

Safety comes first. If we have dogs that are socialable and if the owners ask to have their pet let out with other pets, we try to accomodate this request. However, if there isn't another dog that is socialable, we will not turn out another pet with yours. We have no desire to have any pet harmed in any way and we take the utmost care to prevent this. Cats are never let into the play room with other cats from a different family.

7. Does someone stay at the kennel at night?

Since we have both a burglar alarm and a fire alarm, we do not see the need for someone to stay overnight at the kennel. Each pet is secured in their kennel/cage at night and the building is locked and deadbolted with the alarms activated for their safety.

8. Is your kennel heated and cooled?

Yes, we have 2 air conditioner units and heat pumps to amply accomodate your pet with a comfortable temperature at all times. During the hottest and coldest part of the day/night, the guillotine doors are closed for maximum comfort.
